How the total is calculated
This tool does one thing: it multiplies each stat you enter by its points-per value and adds the results together. There is no modelling, no estimation and no lookup of live data — the output is purely arithmetic on the numbers you type in.
- count
- how many of that stat occurred (blank is treated as 0)
- points-per
- the value your league awards for one of that stat — fully editable
Because the points-per column is editable, the total reflects whatever scheme you enter. The values shipped by default are an illustrative example only, not any platform's official rules.
Worked example: a top-order innings
Suppose a player scores 62 off the bat with 5 fours and 2 sixes, and takes 1 catch. Under the example scheme (1 per run, 1 per four, 2 per six, 8 catch, 8 half-century bonus):

62 × 1 = 62 - Fours:
5 × 1 = 5 - Sixes:
2 × 2 = 4 - Half-century bonus:
1 × 8 = 8 - Catch:
1 × 8 = 8 - Total:
62 + 5 + 4 + 8 + 8 = 87 points
Change any points-per value — say your league gives 4 per six — and the total updates immediately.

Each row below is an example — replace with your league's rule. These are the defaults the calculator ships with; nothing here is an authoritative or official scheme.

Does this use my platform's official scoring?
No. It ships an illustrative example scheme. Fantasy scoring differs by platform and season, so edit every points-per value to match the rules your league publishes before trusting the total.
Will it tell me who to pick or how many points a player will score?
No. It only adds up points for a stat line you type in. It does not project future scores, value players, rank them, or give any draft, captain or transfer advice.
What happens if I leave a field blank?
Blank counts are treated as zero, so the total never breaks on empty inputs. You only need to fill in the stats that actually occurred.
How do I handle bonuses that apply once?
Enter 1 in the count for a bonus that was earned, or 0 if it was not. The points-per value is the size of that one-off bonus in your league.
